For the record, I think Harper looks so much like Scott that he could never deny her. (Not that he would!)
BUT, when Harper smiles, she looks just like Kelly did when she was a baby.
Kelly's grandmother send us a big package today in the mail. She has been cleaning and sorting out all her things since she moved. She sent us several old scrapbooks of pictures. They are wonderful! One of the scrapbooks is full of my hubs' baby pictures! I just am in heaven to have these. I hope to make copies and give to each of our children and hopefully they will pass them on to their children.
People my age don't have many pictures of their grandparents when they were babies. They were rare!
Anyway, I got many pictures of my two children that Grandma had in her scrapbooks over the past 35 years. I just wanted to share a couple of Kelly to see if you think Harper favors her Mama just a little.

I think Kelly still looks like her baby pictures...I mean I could tell those were her baby pictures. And I could see a little of Harper when I looked at them too.

I've always seen a lot of Kelly in Harper. Can't believe you got the pictures so fast! I mailed them Friday morning and thought they would be on a slow truck. I meant to email ya'll that they were coming and got side tracked. Have fun.
I was going to comment and tell you yesterday that Harper looks SO SO much like you! Especially in the pictures where are you are holding her and it's just the two of you! Same smile! So pretty!
I think Harper looks like both you and Kelly. I have often thought she looked like her Uncle Chris too. She is a little doll and lights up a room when she smiles. Is that baby picture you? I think it is.
It seems that several of us readers all had the same thought when we saw the picture of you and Harper . . . I immediately thought she looked just like you! She does have some of her momma's features too, but you certainly can't deny she is your grand baby.

My daughters look like my husband, especially the little one. She is his clone! So I always hae to say...they may look like their dada but who do they act like? It better me. :)

The resemblance is remarkable. Now I know where Kelly gets her love of "hair bows". I had to laugh when I saw that almost every one of her baby pictures had a hair bow--just like Harper!!!

Miss Harper is a "Mini Me" for Kelly right now. So cute. The old pictures of Kelly definately look like Harper. Both so beautiful. But there is some Scott in there, too. A mix of the best of both of them.
That first picture is amazing....Kelly looks like HER mama, and Harper certainly favors HER mama as well!! :) Seriously, that twinkle in your eyes and big smile is exactly like Kelly!! Fun to see these pics!!
Beautiful! I love that you when you look at Harper you can see in her the people who love her most! In the first picture of you holding Kelly, I REALLY could see Harper...with darker hair! Have a wonderful week....my favorite of the year!
