Big Sister, Big Tears and Little Characters

Well, I started off my morning with big tears......of joy.....of course.  Kelly, Scott and Harper went to Kelly's doctor for a sonogram to finally reveal the sex of our new baby!

I'm sure you have already read Kelly's Blog where she announced "It's a Girl" but I wanted to do a little announcement for myself!!    I can't begin to tell you how blessed we feel.  The baby is doing well and her name will be Hollis Barrett Stamps.   No family names....just something they agreed they both liked.

I always say they can name them anything they want....I'm gonna love 'em no matter what they call them!!   Now that Harper is talking and calling me "Nonny".....well, I'm in heaven!

Last night was our annual "Trunk or Treat" night at AWANAS at our church.  We had 92 kids and 40 adults who helped out for another successful night!   We have a Bible study for adults going on during this time also and our youth meet at another location.  So we have close to 200 people out on Wednesday night learning more about our Lord and His word!  I am so thankful for all those who are so faithful!

I took pictures of tons of kids but I wanted to share just a few that I thought were extra cute!

Don't you love to see little kids dressed up and having fun??

Is this little girl not the most  "bee -u-tiful"  child?

I love Moses with his "ten commandments" and his sister, the angel!!

The Razorback cheerleader and her brother, the rodeo clown!

Lots of candy and cupcakes!

The cutest little  "cow" boy in town!!

Some cuties!

Another sister and brother team!

                                                 ANOTHER cute brother and sister!

Peace and Love!

Two sisters and their brother!

Minnie "Maddie" Mouse

I love this little cowgirl! She is darling!

Another cute cheerleader!!

Sparks

Baby Landon as a clown with his Mom and Dad!

Parents handing out candy from their trunks!

One of my favorite little "punkins"!!

Thank you to all you guys who helped!

The Lord showed up too with a beautiful sight.......as it says in Psalms,  The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty......!!

I know I already told you this this morning, but...CONGRATULATIONS, Nonny!!! What a JOY Miss Hollis will be! I am SO excited for all of you because I know how much she is already loved...not only by actual family, but by all of us non-official-family, as well.

Children are a true gift from the Lord!

And speaking of children ~ those pictures are wonderful. Yes, seeing little ones dressed up and having fun is WONDERFUL!!

Yes, I had already read Kelly's blog today and found out about the new baby girl!!! I love her name! Since I have 2 girls, I was so excited for Kelly. Girls are sweet and it will be fun for Harper to have a sister. Such adorable children at your church. I always loved the Halloween parties at church when my girls were little. Have a wonderful weekend. Love & blessings from NC!

Congratulations, Nonny! So thankful to hear that everything looks good with Miss Hollis!

A question about trunk-or-treat...can you give me a little more detail on how it works? Our church does a big fall festival, but I've heard of trunk-or-treat too.

Watch out tho, we had one then the grandsons started(4) but the Lord did blessed us with another little girl.

Love the new baby name!!! I'm so so happy for the Martin/Stamps family.

The kids sure were cute Wednesday night. It's one of the most fun nights of the Awana year...they get so excited.

I'm so glad you got a picture of that sky. I meant to, but got sidetracked. It was beautiful!!

Your blog is so beautiful. Congratulations on being a Nonny again. I love those names! My granddaughter named her little girl Hunter, and like you I didn't care what they named her but it sure has suited her. Love the pictures!
