Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow....

We got home from Florida just in time for the big snow of 2011 !!  It snowed all day yesterday. I love the first day of a snow.  Needless to say, Hubs went to work and I didn't venture out all day!

It continued to snow all day and last night.  Hubs went out to measure this morning and we got around 4 inches.  Seems like just a little to most people but it's a lot of snow to us!

Looks like the sun is out this morning and I made a few pictures to show.  We are hoping the roads will clear and we can have church tomorrow morning!

Hubs will be in his home office studying today!

And guess where the Boys will be all day??????

If you are snowed in, hope cabin fever hasn't broken out yet!

I just try to remember all those days when I HAVE to run around all over the place
and WISH I COULD STAY HOME!!!

Love the pictures Judy. We are beginning to thaw a little here and I just hope the roads improve. Another front is expected to hit about noon tomorrow and snow predicted next wednesday. This has been quite a February.

WOW! Look at all that snow! Here in NC today we just have dreary cold rain...but I am thankful it's not snow! You guys have had quite the winter! We really have too though. Unusually cold this winter! I promise not to complain this summer. Promise! Love from one Nonny to another!

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. So when the Lord gives you snow...you build a snowman!!!

Hope you're enjoying the beautiful snow. We got 8 inches on January 10th which is a big deal in north Alabama...we built a snowman! :)

Yikes! I remember snow very well when I lived in Michigan. The funky weather here in Phoenix these past few weeks has it where it's WARMER in Flagstaff than here in Phoenix. Even had a few flurries that didn't stick around much. Your pics are beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Judy,
The pictures were so pretty. Love your nice big deck...and all of the trees around the yard...Beautiful.

Snow is indeed lovely and it is fun to just stay home and enjoy the cozy fireplace sometimes.

But yes we all do want to go to church and get out when we need to.

Oh we humans can't quite decide what we want most of the time! Ha! So...it is best to just receive what God gives us with joy and appreciation!

Love, Linda

I see that you are getting blessed with a beautiful snow,(did it make you wish you had stayed in Fla.? We had 7 inches here on the coast week before last,(three snows since the day after Christmas ) The snow stayed two days then melted , thank goodness,We are just not use to having snow here on the coast and having to wear a coat instead of just a jacket is different too LOL I have been sick so did not get a chance to go PLAY out in it, I do believe it has been the coldest wettest Winter we have ever had , I am so looking forward to seeing Spring get here.Take care and God Bless.

Snow seems so much more magical and pleasant in the country- maybe because it's quiet and stays clean longer!? :)

The pictures are beautiful, but I am just not a fan of cold weather and/or snow and ice. Last week we had some sleet/freezing rain, and it took BabyGurl over three hours to make a 45 minute drive home from school. And now we are supposed to have another chance at 'something' tomorrow night. The bad thing about where we live, we are as likely to get ice as we are snow. I'm just ready for sunshine and flip flops.

Love the snow but we don't get any here in PHX. It did actually get down to 20 the other night but today was back up to 70ish... Beautiful! Thanks for sharing the pics!!!
