Homecoming

This beautiful young lady was crowned Homecoming Queen tonight at our local high school.

She just happens to be one of our favorite young people who has grown up in our church.
Hubby and I were there when she was born and we love her muchly!! The neat thing about her is that she is lovely on the inside as she is on the outside! Congratulations Elizabeth!
This darling little flower girl is also from our church! She is just the sweetest little girl and smart as she can be! Her Mom and I work in AWANA together and she ask me to come take pictures tonight and I was so honored to do so!
We had not been to homecoming in a few years so it was a treat to go!

Tomorrow is our big day! We go see the Razorbacks play South Carolina and we pick up a certain little girl named Harper and bring her home with us for the week!

We can't wait for tomorrow to come!

I heard about the homecoming queen from Mack David of course! What news I don't get from Kelly's blog, I get from MackD :) I said the exact same thing...she is as beautiful on the inside as the outside. A sweet and precious family! Have a great weekend and don't spoil that baby girl too much!

Elizabeth looks so pretty! I felt old reading that, knowing I babysat her when she was about crosby's age! Where did that time go? The little girl is precious too!

Have a wonderful week with Harper! Very excited for K & S as they go on this trip--praying for them. It's really hard to be away from the kid(s), so I pray God will give them a peace about that... In addition to safety and a great time of ministry there! Can't wait to read about their week and yours.

I pray that Harper does well with you two, I know she'll be loved and spoiled upon but it's not the same as being with her mommy (and daddy) day and night, night and day. It's a change, and changes can sometimes be rough at first.

I know you and Steve are going to have a ball with Harper while Kelly and Scott are in El Salvador. It'll be quite a change for your household, huh? I'll be praying for you - but you can pray for me too. My daughter's company is sending her to their Canada facility next week for a special project and Roy and I will have her 7 yr. old twins 24 hrs a day M-F for the next SIX weeks. It should be interesting!

Both girls looked beautiful!! "Lizard" looks a lot like Carrie Underwood to me the older she gets.

Can't wait to read the Harper episodes this week and looking forward to seeing her at church in the morning!
