Today over at the Nesting Place everyone is showing their "mistreatments" of curtains or anything that you have done without much sewing or fussing over! I wanted to show you my "Mistreatment" curtain in my black/white toile guest bedroom. I do not sew and I had only one little window that I thought needed a little curtain.
I got some toile and some black/white check material and put together and just draped them through some real inexpensive holders which I nailed to the wall. I thought they turned out pretty well considering they cost almost nothing. The black and white check material was on the "one dollar per yard" rack at WM.
This is my toile table that I bought second-hand at a little shop a couple of years ago. The top is a removable tray but I thought it would make a great bedside table!
I used scrapbook paper under my little chest on the dresser to keep with the black/white theme.
I painted this old wicker chair that my sister gave me years ago and covered the seat with black checked material. I found different pillows with the back/white theme to go on the chair and bed.
Hope you have some "mistreatments" that you would like to show!
