Determining my steps......

This morning when I sat down to do my Bible reading and prayer time I looked out my bedroom window and saw the light flooding in on our deck. It was so beautiful to me that I had to take a quick picture. It reminded me of how God is always faithful. Yesterday was dark and cloudy but this morning the sun comes shining through!

One of the verses I read spoke to me of how we are always in God's hands. We plan our lives, from what we are going to do tomorrow to how we will spend our years ahead. I always wake up thinking of what I am going to do today and the rest of the week. As we get older we often think these days of how we will spend our "later" years.

Proverbs 16:9 says, " A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps."
Isn't that great news? We don't have to worry about tomorrow, really, because God has that already planned out for us!

We just have to be faithful to Him!

What do you think the Lord has planned for your life?

Wow. That sunlight is GORGEOUS! So cool, and I LOVE that verse so much.

I definitely think the Lord is planning for me to come sit on your porch and drink coffee with you and that pretty sunlight one day. :-)

That is a beautiful picture. I was talking with a friend today about this very thing. We say that Jesus is a Savior, but he should also be the Lord of our lives. It is great to know he is there with us through everything.

Like a little reminder to remember even when you're going through a dark time, a cloud hanging over you, etc...it's nice to know if you know Jesus, have Him as the Lord over your life...there will always be a "light at the end of the tunnel".

Thanks for the post and verse. Great words from the Father.
