Last night was one of my favorite AWANA nights! We had Trunk or Treat for 79 kids and we had so much fun! I love to see the children all dressed up! They were a little excited to say the least!
We had lots of young parents who help hand out the candy from their car trunks!
Is there a doctor in the house??

Our church is hosting our first ever trunk or treat this Saturday! I have three little people at my house who are quite excited! Love the pictures! What a blessing to have so many children come out!

How fun! I love that idea, although I have never participated in one before. I am sure those kids had a wonderful time!
How adorable are they?!?! I love little kids all dressed up. :) They just manage to grab a piece of my heart!!!!!
I also love that we have churches that provide the kids with a SAFE place to "Trunk or Treat!" I know our churches around here are known for that!

Looks like it was a lot of fun. Our son in law is a youth pastor and they have Trunk or Treat at their church too. We call ours Fall Festival at our church. The kids sure have a good time at both.
And is is good safe fun for them.

we do this too at our church! ours is saturday night, weather permitting! considering it's "fallin a flood" here in southwest AR i HOPE we get to have it! Shelby is going to be a Moo Cow, or as I like to call her, "My little Heifer." :) it fits her attitude she has some days! LOL>.. my mom is coming down from texarkana to spend the night w/ us b/c she wants to be here for Shelby's first Halloween and to help me paint faces at the Trunk or Treat! I can't wait!!! :)
Those kiddos look so precious! We haven't done this at my church, but my brother does it at his. It is a big hit.
We did a trunk or treat at our church a couple of years ago and we all decorated the back of our vans/cars! It was neat and we had so much fun!
Awwwww! All those costumes are so cute! The little cubbie vest brought back so many memories of my Awana days! :)
Trunk or treat this is cute. I have never heard of this up by us. What a great idea. Have a happy halloween. Little Harper looked adorable in her little pig costume. So sorry Kelly is sick. Hope she is feeling better real soon.

I found your blog via Kelly's. I have adopted four little boys from Ukraine. This year, three started in AWANA. What a great program for little ones to learn God's word. It blesses my heart so much to hear them quote scriptures at the ages of 5, 6 and 8 years old! They loved Trunk or Treat, also!
