These are the best days of our lives......

Tonight I am washing and packing up Harper's clothes, gathering up her new toys for we will taking her home tomorrow.

I know her parents can hardly wait for the plane to land to get home and see her!

Things at my house this week have been at a standstill. I have learned that I was in much better shape at age 26 when I had my first 10 month old. But because of my age now, I do know this fact much better now than I did at twenty-six: Other things can wait.....holding a baby close to you and loving on them is the best thing in the world....for the baby and for you!!

Simply said, I've had the best time in my life!!

We love you, Harper, and may this be the beginning of many more times you will stay with Poppa and Nonny!

Looks like y'all had a very fun week with little Harper.
I know her mommy & daddy are ready to see her, but have been able to rest assured that their little one has been in very good hands. I'm thankful they were able to make this trip.
I loved seeing all the pictures and videos.
Harper is blessed to have such wonderful grandparents who love her so!

I know you have had such a great week. I also know that Kelly and Scott just be so grateful to have you and Steve for taking care of Harper. It is so hard to leave but it makes it so much easier when you know the person caring for your child loves them just as much as you do! why do I have a feeling that Miss Harper might be a bit spoiled when she gets home this weekend??? :-)

You and my Mom are just SO much alike (Just like Kelly and I) and I just love that you love your "girls"--daughters and granddaughters! It has been so fun seeing your adventures this week. And now I am off to rock my sweet baby girl!!! You are so right...everything else can wait!!
Thanks for being such a sweet encouragement!

Don't you just love having your grand daughter staying with you. We love it when our precious grand son is ours for a short while. We have so much fun.
I really think Harper looks just like her mommy. Her eyes twinkle when she smiles just like Kelly's do!!
God bless them both for the work they are doing. It just breaks my heart to see the way those poor children have to live. We are going to help a child. It is the least we can do.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your time with your Harper...
God Bless
Cathy

What wonderful grandparents you both are! And, not only do you take sweet videos for the parents, but you even wash all the clothes before you pack them back up! Are you for hire? hehehe
I don't even know you, but I think I would totally trust you to take care of my children!!! And, that is a HUGE compliment because I don't trust my kids with just anyone!!! Harper made some wonderful memories with y'all this week. I am sure Kelly is beyond grateful for your tender loving care for Harper. At least, I hope she tells you that.

As my daughter reminded me "that's why you have babies when your young". I am so honored to be given the opportunity to care for my granddaughter 2 days a week, and when her Mommy comes to pick her up, I lay down for my nap! I know you had fun with Harper!
