Are You Lonesome Tonight?

Things around here are much different than they were last week. Grandma's arms are empty!
I have cleaned up all the baby things and put away the horse and toys till next visit!

But, boy, do I ever miss this little face!!

I bet it is a LOT quieter in your house right now! ha! Amazing how busy one little 10 month old baby can make you. How does anyone have 2 or 3 or 18?

I am sad that you are lonely! My Mom and I make it a point to never end one visit without scheduling the next so we can look forward to it!

I bet you do miss that little face. She is such a doll and her face lights up a room. She had such a good time with you all.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I live for the next visit. From one Nonny to another

Awww... I bet it is super quiet at your house now! Harper is lucky to have such a loving Nonny!

I feel your pain. Laughter one week, quiet the next. Hurts my heart!!!

What are your West Highland Terriers names? They are adorable. I grew up with a Cairn Terrier.

Dara, The Westies are brothers and their names are Kramer and Buddy. They are almost 14 years old!

I thought about you and wondered how you were doing without that sweet baby girl to love on. The holidays are just around the corner...you have lots of fun times ahead to look forward to!

She is such a doll baby! It appears that you had quite a time! I am sure you are making wonderful memories each time you are all together.

I've been concerned about you! I know your arms are empty for now, but not for long as Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Cannot believe your precious Granddaughter is 10 months old. She is beautiful:)
Blessings always,

I had been waiting for this post...knew it was coming! I know the feeling..when my girls come home from college for a weekend and then head back, the quiet is just too much! Try to keep busy!

Oh, I almost started CRYING when I got to Harper's picture. That is just so sweet, Judy. I know you're lonely for Little Miss H, but it's honestly hard for me to believe that you might possibly have any idle time on your hands!!

I LOVE being a grandmother! And as much as I love them keeping them for several days at a time - I love the peace and quiet when they go home with mama and daddy! I miss them so much and I am always calling within hours. But, whew!!! It will wear a not-very old lady out!!!

Loved your posts and wish we lived closer cause I think we could be really good friends! We have many many similar interests and I love your blog!!

I can understand why you'd miss that sweet little face! I'm sure you'll have another HAPPY reunion in the near future! Just think about all the wonderful memories you had the opportunity to make with her.

I remember very well praying hard for her about 10 months ago. :)
