The Visit

We had another busy week this past week.  Monday through Wednesday were spent on the road to the southern part of our state for a board meeting for the Children's Home  and then back to Little Rock for a church member's surgery at one of the hospitals there.

But Thursday brought something special :  A visit from Harper

She walked all over the house since the last time she visited she hadn't quite got the hang of it!

She made a beeline for the stairs since she had not experienced this before.  Of course, Papa or
yours truly stayed right with her so she wouldn't fall backwards!

She would make it to the top and take a little rest (or was that Poppa taking a little rest??) !

She was crazy about "our new doggie" (see past blog) and would put her nose up to the side windows
on our front door to take a gander at him.  I had little smudges on both sides of the glass!

Because she was at the "farm" she had to ride her pony!

I think she told her Mama that she enjoyed coming to see her grandparents!

One of the sweetest things she has learned to do was give kisses!  You know that makes my
heart go pitter-patter!!

Poppa gets lots of kisses too!

So I ended my week on a high note, do you think??

I was changing the sheets on Harper's crib and found a little memento!

I will now HAVE  to make a trip over to see her to take it back......
I'm sure they don't have them in the store there!!!

I loved going to my grandparents so much. Nanny always had the cane pole ready to go fishing. Such wonderful memories.

I love the pictures of her giving kisses! It's hard to believe she's walking around the house (and climbing stairs) already--wow! I told Kelly in a comment that I really really miss being able to take the kids to Mom & Dad's house during the week now...Kindergarten really spoiled that fun deal!

Hope you are enjoying some spring! My jonquils are just about to bloom (only a handful of them, but still so pretty!).

Grandma Judy sure looks happy in these pictures! And so does grandpa. Sweet Harper Kisses will do that.

I think lil' Miss Harper brightens things up everywhere she goes! (:>)

I loved seeing the pictures of her walking and exploring...and climbing the stairs. Such Fun!

Thanks for sharing the joy with us! (Nothing better than being a grandma huh? We had three of our granddaughters this weekend and had lots of fun.)
