Summertime Fun: Watermelon Fellowship

Nothing is more traditional than a summertime watermelon fellowship on Sunday night after church!

We had a horse trough iced down full of sweet watermelons to begin the festivities.  They went pretty quickly!

By the time we left last night the clouds were brewing up a storm.  It has been so humid  and we have really been needing rain which God blessed us with last night!

Don't you just love summer??

Next we are gearing up for M-Fuge Youth Mission trip to New Mexico!

The watermelon looks so good! Our church is getting ready to have an ice cream fellowship and they are also making it an ice cream contest. :)

Please pray for our church as 13 are headed to Guatemala on July 14 for a week. Praying for your mission trip to New Mexico.

Have a great Monday!

We used to ice them down in the baptistry of our church! My high school friends and I always thought "Watermelons in the baptistry" would make an excellent name for a band!
