Too Hot

I guess the biggest news here is that it has been so hot you can hardly breathe.  I got up really early this morning because I wanted to wash the vinyl fence that is front of our property and I knew if I didn't get started early, it would get too hot to work.

I stayed at it for nearly 3 hours and gave it up until tomorrow morning.  Tomorrow is suppose to be even hotter...near 100 degrees.

I get up early for me and Bobber to take a walk and then get to work.  I started to post pictures of my work but that didn't seem too interesting!  No one wants to see work yet unfinished!

So here is something more interesting to view: got to see her a couple of days ago and she's a funny little girl to be around!  Loving her personality!

Hope you are experiencing some cooler weather where you live!   And where is that, by the way??

I'm in Salt Lake City and it's finally cooling off a bit. Closer to 90 than 100. It's an improvement!

Harper in just precious. It is sunny here and just a little chilly about 18deg celsius here in Waikiki Western Australia. We have very hot summers and mild winters. Love your blog and family. Kathy

I agree--TOO HOT! About this time every year I start looking forward to pumpkins and mums and soup and sweatshirts!

It's a balmy 59 degrees here in Anchorage, Alaska! I do not envy your hot weather! We're on the downhill slide here; the other day I noticed the leaves starting to turn (already) and it will be cold and snowing in 60 to 90 days. You can always put more layers on to stay warm, but you can only take so many clothes off! I think I would melt in your heat (even though I was born and 1/2 raised in Texas)!
Can't wait to see the fence. ;-)

Harper gets cuter everyday. She's growing up so fast.
What a little miracle she is.
Be careful in this heat!

I live in Annapolis, Maryland, and I waited until Saturday evening to wipe down the vinyl railings on our deck...I am not a morning person, ha! We have had temps over 100 degrees (as high as 105) in June and July. "They" are calling for highs in the 90's, but cooling down to the 80's this weekend. Your granddaughter is just adorable...she is growing up much too fast!

Here in Alabama, they're predicting 98 tomorrow, with a heat index between 109 and 114! Too hot to do much here except move from air conditioner to air conditioner!

Harper is just a doll...I can never remember a summer where the HEAT has bothered me so much...It feels like you cannot take a deep breath

I know what you mean. It has been miserable here. My oldest daughter loves being outside more than anything and she even says it's too hot to play outside.

I enjoy following your blog (when I get a chance since I have a 15, 13, and 9 year old) and Kelly's blog. I just love how much you and Kelly love the Lord. You both have a joy that only come from above.

We live in Colorado Springs, CO. So, we are not used to really hot weather. Even if it gets into the 90's in the day, we get very cool nights and it cools off just beautifully. It is more of a mountain climate.

Your granddaughter Harper is very beautiful! Blessings to you and your husband.

Nope no cooler weather here in DFW, Texas. We were at 107 yesterday. We just moved here from Fla. 3 weeks ago so it's a different heat but still hot. Hope it's not unbearable tomorrow when you retry. Harper is a doll as always.

WOW, and I thought it has been hot in New Jersey. We have had a nice week this week. First one really. Finally cool mornings and nights where you can open the windows and enjoy the breeze.

Harper is precious. I loved hearing her talk on Kelly's blog yesterday.

It isn't much cooler around our neck of the woods :)
Ya walk outside and it takes your breath! Ugh! We live about an hour south of Kansas City, MO. Clinton is the name of the town. I know ya'll have to be hot down in Arkansas. We've been wanting to make a trip down there. Might have to soon! PS- your precious granddaughter saying "bow" cracks me up! Have a good week.

It's not much cooler here! We are from Clinton, MO: about an hour south of Kansas City. It's hotter than heck around here and unbearable! Hope ya'll are doing ok down in Arkansas! Harper is too cute saying "bow". That's my girl, southern accent all of the way! Us Missourians don't have the accent like ya'll in Arkansas, but we still have a little "twang" :)

Have a good week.

I live in a small town in North MS called Thaxton. We are between Tupelo (where Elvis was born) and Oxford (Ole Miss Rebels). I only live about 15 miles from Ashley McGee (anm_2006) and we go to the same small church. Small world, huh? Anyway, our predicted heat index for today is 117. It is almost too hot to breathe! Thankful I work inside!!!

Blazing hot here in Mars Hill, NC, which is a small Baptist college town located in Western North Carolina about 25 miles north of Asheville, NC. I've been following Kelly's blog since Harper was born. She is adorable and looks so much like her nonny.

Love your pictures! She is such a cutie pie. It's 103 here at 4pm in Wylie, TX. They say the heat index will be 110 today and tomorrow. I'm dreaming of a summer home on the northeast coast somewhere by the beach.

Hot and humid here in Indianapolis. We are having National Crime Night in our neighborhood tonight. It is almost too hot to venture out to the clubhouse to meet our policemen and firemen. They are so important to us. Lovely granddaughter.

We are happy to be back in NWA and not in Waco anymore....where it is miserably hot in both places. But right we are in Carmel, CA on vacation and the weather could not be more divine. It is a warm 65 today. I know....us southerners don't know what to do with August temps like that!

Hi Judy. I always love pictures of Harper! Glad you got a visit with her...and yes, she has a cute little personality just like her mama!

It is really hot here in the Wichita Ks. area. Today my hubby and I went out and it was 104 I think. It gives me a headache and that's no fun. I usually stay inside unless I HAVE to get out.

Don't work too hard washing the fence.

God Bless!

scizeOne question "Nonny" - when your sweet daughter posts videos, like the one she did yesterday of Harper talking, just HOW MANY times do you watch it in a 24 hour period?? ROFL Too sweet - enough to melt a Nonny's heart, isn't it!
