Steve and I were honored to meet with Shane and Caroline on Thursday evening to discuss wedding plans for next week!
We had not met Shane yet and were very impressed with his wonderful spirit! He and Caroline will make a great couple!
Opposites do attract and can make for an interesting life-long, never dull marriage! I speak from experience!
Thursday night after dinner we went for coffee and I got a couple of sweet pictures of the nearly-weds!
Caroline and Shane, we pray God's greatest blessing on your lives as you marry! What a fun wedding this is going to be!!
We also had a chance to spend a couple of hours("drive-by grandparenting") with our girls before we met up with Shane and Caroline. And of course, I have a couple of pictures to show!
Had to wash those dirty little "outside bare foot" feet!
"Princess Papa"
Poppa got a lot of attention that day!
But so did Nonny!

Oh my goodness the photo of your hubby and the girls looking down at the book could not be anymore precious.
So happy for Caroline. I was single a LOOOOOONG time also.
Such a blessing of God !
I wish her and Shane the best.
The picture of Shane and Caroline is so precious! I'm a little jealous you get to be at the wedding! Take a lot of pictures for us who can't be there,ok?! ;)
Of course, H & H are as cute as ever!! ♥
okay...i LOVE how in so many of Hollis' pictures that mouth of hers is wide open...it makes me think when she does start talking...SHE. WIIL. NEVER. STOP!!!! HA!
love the papa pictures...the one with Harper's eyes closed on his chest...adorable.
the one with papa and his crown...PRICELESS.
those girls are surely blessed.
How precious is this! So proud for Caroline! I have been reading her blog for along time. I love your drive by grand parenting! The girls are absolutely darling!
Drive-by grandparenting.....love that!!! The pictures are precious!
Enjoyed the pictures and many blessings upon Shane & Caroline (my niece's name is Caroline but she goes by Coco right now). We'll be doing a drive-by visit soon with my 3 niece's (this will be our 1st time meeting the baby).
Blessings,
Amy
My husband was a 'princess' too, except he also had to carry the wand:) There's something about a grandpa.....
Papa's crown is very becoming! I had a good laugh when I saw the barefooted H & H. My mother would never let my sister and I go barefoot. She didn't want us walking in other people's spit! To this day I can't go barefoot!

Also very happy for the new, soon to be married couple. Hope they have a wonderful life together.
Love the pictures of Papa and his girls :)
Oh such fun pictures! And I just may have to borrow that phrase "drive by grandparenting" - our middle son and his wife and 5 young children are moving to a town only an hour away so I expect to do a lot of "drive by grandparenting" real soon! Enjoy the wedding; looking forward to reading all about it!
So sweet of Pastor Steve to step in and marry Caroline and Shane. That keeps it "in the family". Pictures of the girls are adorable, as always. Especially adorable is the new Princess in the pics. Papa wears the crown well!
