It's Beginning to Look alot like...........FALL!

Today, as I drove down my little gravel road toward home,I was amazed how the trees are beginning to show their fall colors. This has just happened the past couple of days. I would imagine the leaves will peak in another week.

I love fall evenings, don't you? It starts getting darker earlier and it always feel good to be in the house by dark.
Another thing I love about it getting darker earlier.......we eat by candlelight more often!! Woo!

Those fall tree pics are gorgeous! I think that we may drive the mountains this weekend to look at the beautiful colors!

I've been so excited about the fall colors coming on! I hope to get some pictures this week. We went to work on the cabin yesterday and the trees there weren't quite vivid enough for my little camera. Soon!

I love the fall too. It's been slightly cooler here but no tree changes yet. I absolutely love those dishes!!!
PS: I think Steve has a touch of "fall fever" too. Ha!

Fall is my absolute favorite season! The leaves don't turn beautiful colors here in Florida (they just turn brown and fall to the ground). Hubs and I usually make a trip north every October to enjoy the fall colors and cooler weather but this year we have our hands full with a sweet little guy!

And I forgot...those glasses filled with tea are just beautiful!

I love the fall colors. I can't wait to take our yearly drive thru Hwy. 7 to see all of the beautiful colors on the mountains.

Judy, thank you so much for all your sweet comments following the loss of my father-in-law. We're all doing fine now as we know he's in a much better place.

I am so loving fall and the changing colors! They were especially vibrant in South Carolina over the weekend, but they're beginning to turn here in Georgia, too. I'm definitely ready for the cooler weather!!

I noticed the leaves had changed more there yesterday when I met Mom & Dad to pick up the kids. I hope it's a really colorful fall!

P.S. Those glasses of tea do look great--makes me thirsty! Looks like you have "good ice"--that makes for an extra tasty glass of tea! :)

Great Pictures of Fall. I love to walk outside when the leaves begin to fall. Thank you for your sweet comments about Georgia-Kate and her room. Wasn't the nursery tour fun?!

I was noticing the same thing on my street tonight as I drove home from work. I LOVE this time of year!

Everything looks beautiful where you are. Love your pretty table setting and candles, too.

Fall in your area is absolutely gorgeous! I'm a little envious! What pretty pictures!

Ya'll live in such a beautiful area. We went to the river last year with our friends, whose parents have a house right on the river. It was gorgeous in the summer. I can't imagaine what fall looks like! I know I always say this but, man I miss NWA! Texas is not too pretty! Luckily, it has it's good qualities, too! I say every season is my favorite at the beginning of that particular season, but I really think fall is the greatest.

Brother Steve's comment is cracking me up!

Those pictures look like they should be on a postcard. Just breath taking. That is one of my most favorite memories of my mom. She would always get SO excited when the trees started to change colors. Of course back then, I thought she was silly. Now, I know what she meant. It's the best part of Fall.
