Surprise Shower

I am almost always the last one to get to my Sunday school class every Sunday morning because I go to the local nursing home first to play the piano for our early morning service there. So when I got to class this morning I was greeted by a surprise "Grandma Baby Shower" by my class!
Does that not just bless your socks off? I was totally surprised and taken back by the sweetness of the ladies in my class. So I spent nearly the entire class time opening presents while everyone had treats to eat.

Do you think I might get one good picture of Miss Harper to put in this darling frame?

I opened clothes, blankets, books, baby wash products, baby washcloths, diapers, bibs, crochet blanket and little crochet hat,cross-stitched bibs, ear thermometer, etc. just to name a few!!

I love these books. The one, "Grandma, Do You Remember?" is a book for me to fill out about my family to give to Harper someday. Isn't that neat? I'd better do it soon while I can STILL remember......after all, I am going to be a Grandma!!!!

Judy, be sure and keep some stuff at your house to have there when the kids bring Harper to visit you. That way they won't have to haul the towels, washclothes, diapers, wipes, etc. It makes life so much more simple for them. I know you just can't wait!!!!

I love the books that you received -especially the "Grandma, Do You Remember?". I know EXACTLY what you mean about having to fill it out soon while you can still remember! (-:

I know you're going to be an amazing Grandma!

That is too sweet! One of my mom's friends bought similar books for both my mom and dad to fill out. I bought Josh's parents each one for Christmas, so that Brody will have a book from all four grandparents!! I think I am going to get two more for mine and Josh's grandparents so that Brody has some from his great-grandparents as well!
