T-I-M-B-E-R !!!!

What do you do when you come home from work and have a couple of hours of daylight left?
If you live in North Arkansas, you cut down trees that were destroyed in the ice storm in January.

Hubs has cut and cut wood and we have burned a lot of it when the winds die down enough to have a fire. We have had more windy days this year than I can ever remember.

But no matter how much we have cut , hauled branches and burned the wood.............
...................there's more to be done!!

Everywhere you look, there are still branches everywhere.

These winds have been rough on my good hair days!!

I feel your pain. We've been cutting and carrying for months too!!! I was planting some flowers a couple of days ago (the wind has been horrible here too), anyhow, I decided to go to Sonic for happy hour. When I got back a huge limb had fallen where I had been planting flowers, it would have probably killed me if it had hit me in the head. I guess God knew I needed a diet cherry limeaid more than I needed a knot on my head! LOL

I heard that the tree damage was unreal in your area of the state. I can't imagine the work involved in cleaning up and clearing that.
We have had a lot of wind here too.

I think the more you clean up...the more the brush and debris grows elsewhere!! HA!! We burn every chance we get, but boy the winds are horrific lately!!

That is so much work! The wind here has been horrible. I think it has been blowing and gusting up to 40 mph since Winter.

Thank you for your sweet comment about our sweet Bennett. I had never had a comment by anyone other than people I know until I did the kitchen post!
