Boo-Hoo BACK-TO-SCHOOL

Today is the day our kids go back to school. Some are happy their children are going back to school. Some are putting their children in school for the very first time! Early this morning we had a BOO HOO Back-to-School for parents in our church to bring their children to school.

A time to have their children's picture made before they went to their new class and a coffee/muffin fellowship for the parents. We also prayed for the children to be blessed this school year.

We had Mothers who brought their children..................

We had Fathers who brought their children........

We had Moms and Dads who brought their children.................

We even had a Grandma who brought her grandchildren!!

And then we had one cutie who isn't old enough to go to school yet.......she just came for the muffins!!

I think I needed a Boo-Hoo Back to School Day! Do you guys have one for teachers who are also mom's that have stayed home all summer with their baby and are now sad about starting back to school? I've been feeling so blue!

I am so thrilled that you visited my blog today,...and Kelly did too, so this is a special birthday indeed!

I love all of the wonderful Christian ladies I have met blogging. We pray for one another and encourage one another,...and it is such a blessing.

It looks like your Back to school get together was a success,...and the muffins sure looked yummy.

I became a follower of your blog, so now I can keep track of what Harper's sweet Grandma is doing. (:>)

My daughter Lynnette Kraft @ Dancing Barefoot,... has a wonderful testimony of God's faithfulness and she has written a book called,..."In Faithfulness He Afflicted Me". She has lost 3 of her 9 children and God has turned her mourning into great joy. I have her button on my sidebar, and her book is available on her blog, and her testimony too.

I think it is a great encouragement and it is a book that gives God all of the Glory for how He has worked in her family's lives through their trials.

I just thought I would mention it.

Thanks again for your comment and for the birthday wishes. I have had a very nice day.

In His Love,
Linda @ Truthful Tidbits

I must say I have mixed emotions on this day. I do enjoy having the house stay clean for more than 30 seconds at a time but I miss my little ones so much. Oh what a day! Hope yours is wnoderful!

Judy, love the photos. So cute. I can't seem to leave comments on Kelly's blog but I wanted to tell her that over here they have sleep sacks that are just wonderful. It's a bit hard to describe but it's wonderful for babies because you don't have to worry about kicking off covers or socks. I could get her one and mail it to her if she wants. Seriously, let me know. Blessings, Laura M.
