Everyday gets sweeter.....

This is for Harper's Mom and Dad so they will know she is being well-cared for!

Uncle Bob and Aunt Linda came out for lunch today and to play with Harper!  They brought her some new PJ's and a darling stuffed doggie!  Harper was happy to see them after she had the initial  "do I know these people?" stare.   She is so funny when she looks at people...she just stares them down for a few minutes and then smiles!

Of course she had to be pushed around the "block" in her new wheels by Aunt Linda!

She has to pick up all kinds of leaves/dogwood petals she sees on the driveway!

We also went to visit several ladies we know at the nursing home.  Harper just was a delight and seemed to take right to the older ladies.

She had a big day and is now tucked in for the night.  Tomorrow is Sunday and will be a wonderful day for her Nonny and Papa to take her to God's House!

Hope you plan to go too!

I've been out of the loop lately being so busy grading end of the semester stuff. I am back to reading blogs again now. :) What a wonderful time it looks like you are having with little Harper. Joyous times! And I bet she had a wonderful time at church too!!

My 2 daughters and I had so much fun meeting Kelly in Atlanta!!! She is so precious and sweet in person! We actually sat near each other and got to talk and visit several times. The conference was awesome! And we had fun in Atlanta too. Kelly said that you had Harper until Monday. I know you have had a great time with her. I'm sorry, but you left me a comment and when I clicked on it to read it, it disappeared. If you remember what you said, send it back to me. It said something like...I think Kelly... I didn't mean for the comment to go away. Me and my technological skills. I will get my pictures uploaded and post on my blog. Beth came in our room and we got to see her pretty close. She is so cute! Love & blessings from NC!

Hey, guess what? Your comment suddenly reappeared. That's great! I enjoyed reading Kelly's post about the first part of the trip. I just uploaded my pictures and will need to do a post too. There is too much to write about. I am going to have to break it up too. Enjoy the rest of your time with Harper. Love & blessings from NC!

I chuckled after reading your post yesterday. I honestly do not remember all the things a toddler can get into around the house (but it has been 30 years since I had a toddler). She is so cute, I know you are having a wonderful time.

It is Monday night and I am sure it is too quiet at your house with Harper gone. I know you miss her so much already. What a wonderful weekend that you and your husband had with Harper. And I'm sure that Kelly had an awesome time in Atlanta. We sure had an incredible time at the conference and meeting our blogger friends. As I said earlier, Kelly is so precious and we enjoyed meeting her so much!!! Hope you have a great week. Love & blessings from NC!

Hi Kelly's mom, I am drawing a blank on your name right now, please forgive me!! I have been on your blog before but just noticed that you have a couple of Westies and that is what we are looking at to get our family!! My little girl loves dogs and we want something small and inside. My question is, are they good dogs? Kid friendly, wild, calm? Do you have any good pointers you could share? I think they are just darling and would love to have one, but am wanting more info on them! Thanks for any help!!

Thought of you when I looked at Harper's pictures on Kelly's blog today. Bet you are missing that little munchkin.
