The old song made famous by Andy Williams came to mind the other night as Hubs ask me if I wanted to drive up to the dam located just a couple of miles from us to view the "Super Moon" that had been touted on the news.
By the way, let me add that Andy Williams was one of my favorite singers when I grew up and he STILL sings at his own theater in Branson!! We saw him several years ago and I still love to hear him. We were probably the youngest people in the audience at that time!
Back to the Super Moon.....We live in the most beautiful part of our state. I was born and grew up in the Southern part of the state but I can say, without a doubt, it is so majestic here.
The mountains and the rivers are breath-taking and I am so thankful God, in His mercy and grace, saw fit to let us live here!

I love Andy Williams too. And Dean Martin.
These photos made me homesick. :). The moon was beautiful!
Seeing your pictures makes me long for "home" all the more!
Beautiful - I went outside but it was pretty hazy and foggy didn't see it. So glad I got to enjoy your photos.
I saw Andy in Branson about 3 years ago. He was great. We too were youngest there hah
One of my favorite trips.
My 6 year old son recently asked what "romance" was... I'd say this qualifies! :)
When I would massage when I was pregnant with Kenlee, that was one of the songs in my mix & one of my all time favorites. So calming & relaxing.
LOVE this!!!!!!! :)
I love that song! My husband and I walked down the aisle (he escorted me--my dad passed away when I was 16) to Audrey Hepburn's version. :) We were bad, though, and missed the Supermoon!
That is gorgeous! I think you are in a beautiful part of the state!
What a lovely evening to spend with your hubby. God is so gracious, isn't He.
